To organize Workshops/ Symposia/
Conferences/ Lectures/ Courses for widening and dissemination of
knowledge in the areas related to energy, environment, sustainability
and combustion related subjects to its members and society at large.
- To encourage publications of
technical papers and journals in these areas mentioned above.
- To draw attention to any special
problems or conditions that exist through its newsletters and
publications.
- To recognize its members, for their
significant contributions to the field and to the Society, by electing
them as “Fellow” grade membership of the Society.
- To recognize non-members, who have
made significant contributions to the field and to the society at large,
by electing them as “Honorary Fellow” grade membership of the Society.
- To recognize and honor young
engineers and scientists by giving “Young Engineer Award” for their
significant contribution to the field.
- To provide financial support to its
members for attending scientific events in the field.
