About the Conference |
|||||||
The conference, SEEC-2022, will be organized to promote research and outreach programs in India through scientific deliberations like keynote addresses and oral presentations. The SEEC will bring together engineers, scientists, researchers, students, and other professionals in order to address and discuss emerging sustainable energy and environmental issues. It will provide platforms for physicists, mathematicians, chemists, engineers, and biologists for critical discussion in key areas of energy and environmental sciences. Environmental sciences research should contribute to understand the major problems in recent days arising due to extensive agriculture, industrial, municipal, transportation, and urbanization activities together with climate change in developing countries. About the Organizing Institute |

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi (IIT BHU) is an Institute of national importance created by an Act of the Parliament through the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2012 vide Gazette Notification dated 29.06.2012. The IIT (BHU), Varanasi is situated in the magnicent campus of BHU at the southern end of the ancient city of Varanasi on the banks of the holy river Ganga. Engineering Education in BHU commenced in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO). The Institution has also pioneered engineering education by being the First in the country to start degree courses in Mining, Metallurgy, Ceramic Engineering and Pharmaceutics. In 1969 these three colleges were amalgamated to form the Institute of Technology (IT BHU). The Minister of Human Resource & Development, Government of India, is the Chairman of the Council. The institute aspires to be a harbinger of modern interdisciplinary technological advancement in the country and at a forefront of imparting quality education by use of innovative pedagogy culminating traditional with contemporary methods. International Society for Energy, Environment and Sustainability |

The International Society for Energy, Environment and Sustainability was founded at IIT Kanpur in January 2014 with an aim to spread knowledge in the fields of Energy, Environment, Sustainability, and Combustion. The Society aims to spread knowledge in the above-mentioned areas among people and make them more aware about the environmental challenges which the world is facing today. The Society is involved in various activities like conducting workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. in the above-mentioned domains. The society also recognizes young scientists and engineers for their contributions in this field.
